What do you love most about DC?
The history! I have always been so enamored with history, so DC is like a playground for me. I also love all of the Architecture. Its such a beautiful city that I appreciate so much.
What small thing makes you smile?
Compliments. Everyone should hand out compliments and build each other up as much as possible.
What's your favorite non profit organization?
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). I have volunteered for the SPCA in my town for years, and I have such respect for all that they do to ensure animals are taken care of and adopted out.
Best way to start your day...
Take my dog for a walk and think about all that I am grateful for. And of course..chocolate milk..
Something most people don't know about you is...
I've always wanted to be a pilot. When I was younger, I would go to flight school camps. When I retire from WRC, I plan on getting my PPL (Private Pilot License).
Best advice you've ever received...
To be positive. May sound simple, but positivity is not a given, it's a daily choice. Choice of attitude when faced with difficult times. Choice to believe in the good, rather than the bad. Choice to follow the light, rather than hide in the darkness. It's a choice you get to make every single moment of your life. And I think that's beautiful.
What's the best part about being a WRC?
Being able to impact people in a positive way. The feeling that I get, when I can make someone smile, is indescribable. One interaction with a child or a fan, can ultimately change their day, or their life. In return, it changes mine as well.
Your go to pregame song is...
Chillin by Wale ft. Lady Gaga! I met him a few years ago at a game, and he is awesome. I love that he is loyal to his hometown and his songs get me so hype!!
Who's your favorite Redskins player?
Ricky Sanders!! I know that he is Alumni, but I have traveld the world with him on Military tours, and he is such a genuine soul. Listening to his stories about football back in the day, and how much respect he had for the game, really makes me admire players like him.
Your favorite memory as a WRC is...
Military tours. I have been on 7 tours, to 15 countries, visiting the men and women who fight for our country, and it has changed my life. It's a life experience that could never be bought, and I am forever grateful that WRC has given me those opportunities.
