• The Redskins finished the season with a completion percentage of 66.5 percent, breaking the team record of 65.8 percent set in 2012.
• The Redskins finished the season with 364 completions, breaking the team record for completions in a season set in 2013 (355).

The Redskins finished the season with 5,738 net offensive yards, the seventh-best figure in team history. The Redskins have exceeded 5,000 yards in 10 straight seasons, the longest streak in team history. * The Redskins accumulated 4,461 gross passing yards (passing yards unadjusted for sacks) in 2014, second-most in team history behind the 1987 Redskins (4,476). * The Redskins posted 4,047 net passing yards this season, only the third 4,000-yard team passing season in franchise history (4,349 in 1989 and 4,136 in 1988). * The Redskins recorded both a 1,000-yard rusher (Alfred Morris) and a 1,000-yard receiver (Pierre Garçon in 2013, DeSean Jackson in 2014) in consecutive seasons for the first time since the 1995-96 seasons (Terry Allen and Henry Ellard, both seasons). * The Redskins had eight 100-yard receiving performances by individuals this season (six by DeSean Jackson, one by Pierre Garçon and one by tight end Jordan Reed), the team's most in a single season since 1999 (five by Michael Westbrook, four by Albert Connell). *

The Redskins posted five receiving touchdowns by backs this season (two by Roy Helu Jr., two by Darrel Young and one by Chris Thompson), the team's most since recording five in 2010 (Keiland Williams, 2; Ryan Torain, 2; Young, 1). * The Redskins' offense placed its left tackle in the Pro Bowl for the seventh time in the last 10 seasons (Trent Williams, 2012-14; Chris Samuels, 2001-02, 2005-08). * The Redskins led the league in yards after catch (2,633) for the first time in records available dating back to 1995. * The Redskins had 35 passing plays of 25-plus yards, tied for the second-most in team history. * The Redskins averaged 6.03 yards on first down, second-best in the NFC and fourth-best in the NFL. Washington has finished in the Top 5 in the category in two of the last three years (No. 1 in 2012 — 6.54). * The Redskins gained 8.16 yards per pass attempt, marking the 12th time in franchise history and the second time since the turn of the century the team has exceeded 8.0 yards per pass attempt for a season. * The Redskins posted a team passer rating of 88.8, the eighth-best figure in team history. * The Redskins scored points on eight of their opening drives in 2014, the most in team records available dating back to 1995. *

In Week 2 vs. Jacksonville, the Redskins scored 41 points for the first time since a 45-41 victory against the Chicago Bears on Oct. 20, 2013 last season. * The Redskins' 31-point margin of victory against the Jaguars was the team's largest since Oct. 7, 2007 vs. Detroit (34-3). * The Redskins scored 21 first-half points against Jacksonville, their most since recording 24 points in the first half at Minnesota in 2013. In those two quarters, the Redskins recorded 308 net yards, the team's most in a first half since Week 15 of the 2013 season at Atlanta (320). * The Redskins' 21-point lead against Jacksonville in the second quarter was the team's largest first-half lead since leading the Dallas Cowboys, 28-3 (25 points), on Thanksgiving Day in 2012. *

The Redskins gained 511 net yards at Philadelphia in Week 3, a season high and the team's first 500-yard effort since posting 500 total yards vs. San Diego in Week 9 of the 2013 season. * In Weeks 2-3, the Redskins posted at least 400 yards of offense in two consecutive games for the first time since doing so in three straight games from Weeks 9-11 in 2013. * The Redskins' opening-drive touchdown in Week 3 was the Redskins' first since Dec. 1, 2013 vs. the New York Giants. It was part of a 14-point first quarter, the Redskins' first since Week 2 of the 2012 season at St. Louis. * In a Week 7 win against Tennessee, quarterbacks Kirk Cousins and Colt McCoy became the first quarterback duo to each complete at least 10 passes in the same game for the Redskins since Todd Collins (15) and Jason Campbell (10) accomplished the feat vs. Chicago on Dec. 6, 2007. * The Redskins rushed for 155 yards vs. Tampa Bay in Week 11, their second highest rushing total in 2014 (191 vs. Jacksonville in Week 2). *

The Redskins rushed for 100 yards or more in five consecutive games from Weeks 7-12 for the first time since rushing for 100-plus yards in 11 straight games from Weeks 2-13 in 2013. * In Week 15 at New York, the Redskins rushed for 144 yards on 27 attempts. The team's 5.33-yards-per-carry average was its highest since Week 1 at Houston (5.70). * The Redskins had seven different players record a rushing attempt against the Giants in Week 15 (Alfred Morris, Robert Griffin III, Colt McCoy, Chris Thompson, Darrel Young, Silas Redd and DeSean Jackson). It marked the first time seven different members of the Redskins had registered a carry in a single game since Nov. 4, 2012 vs. Carolina. * The Redskins scored three rushing touchdowns vs. Philadelphia in Week 16, tied with the team's output in Week 2 vs. Jacksonville (three) for the most by the Redskins in 2014. * In Week 17 vs. Dallas, 10 different receivers caught passes for the Redskins for the second time this season (10 at New York in Week 15).
