9/25: Announcement Of Inactives

The Washington Redskins have announced the following inactives and lineup changes for tonight's game against the New York Giants:

The Redskins declared the following players as inactive:

  • No. 10 QB Robert Griffin III
  • No. 54 LB Akeem Jordan
  • No. 64 DE Kedric Golston
  • No. 75 NT Robert Thomas
  • No. 77 G Shawn Lauvao
  • No. 86 TE Jordan Reed
  • No. 89 WR Santana Moss
  • No. 67 Josh LeRibeus is expected to start in place of Lauvao at left guard.
  • No. 82 Logan Paulsen is expected to start in place of Reed at tight end.

Earlier in the day, the Redskins signed No. 75 NT Robert Thomas from their practice squad to the team's active roster. Thomas is a 6-foot-3, 325-pound, 23-year-old rookie out of Arkansas.

The Giants declared the following players as inactive:

  • No. 13 WR Odell Beckham Jr.
  • No. 52 LB Jon Beason
  • No. 59 LB Devon Kennard
  • No. 71 T Charles Brown
  • No. 72 DE Kerry Wynn
  • No. 73 T James Brewer
  • No. 96 DT Jay Bromley
  • No. 35 Quintin Demps is expected to start in place of No. 27 Stevie Brown at free safety.
  • No. 53 Jameel McClain is expected to start in place of Beason at middle linebacker.
  • No. 58 Mark Herzlich is expected to start in place of McClain at strongside linebacker.
