Over the coming weeks, The Redskins Blog will be providing you with a different look at the franchise's past.

Unlike Throwback Thursday where we've looked at important moments on the gridiron against an upcoming opponent, this series will examine some of the lighter moments as we go through all of the photos stored at Redskins Park in Loudoun County, Va.

The NFL Owner's Meetings start next week.

Already, teams are putting forth some ideas to be discussed regarding rule changes from instant replay to extra points to kickoffs.

This year the convention will take place in Phoenix, Ariz., where the meetings turn into their own networking event, hosting owners, general managers and head coaches to discuss the future of the league.

While Phoenix has nice weather in March, you can only imagine how difficult it would have been to concentrate when the meetings were held in Honolulu, Hawaii, as they were in this photo.

For example, the ocean and palm trees provide the backdrop for this archive, taken on March 14, 1979.

Representing the Redskins in this shot is head coach Jack Pardee (first row, third from right), amazingly in close proximity to head coaches Dick Vermeil and Tom Landry of the Eagles and Cowboys, respectively.

Also pictured are Bill Walsh, Bart Starr and Don Shula.

Can you name any others?
