Just minutes after his selection, Brandon Scherff is already sounding like a Redskin.
The Redskins' popular hashtag, #HTTR, was introduced to Scherff following his selection. Now a member of the burgundy and gold's offensive front, he was certainly excited to give a Hail to the Redskins on Thursday night.
With the fifth-overall selection, the Washington Redskins picked the former University of Iowa offensive lineman.
As a senior in 2014, Scherff was both a unanimous All-American and First-Team All-Big Ten selection. He also graduated with hardware, as he was named both the Rimington-Pace Offensive Lineman of the Year (Big Ten) and was the Outland Trophy winner as the nation's top offensive lineman.
