The Redskins announced today that offensive tackle Jammal Brown will remain on the team's Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list.

The team also released linebacker Darryl Gamble from their practice squad. No corresponding signing is announced at this time.

Brown (6-6, 317) is in his third season with the Redskins after originally joining the team by trade on July 19, 2010.

The veteran of 85 career NFL games was placed on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list with a hip injury on Aug. 27, 2012. He was cleared to return to practice on Nov. 6, but suffered setbacks later that week.

Gamble (6-2, 255) signed to the Redskins' practice squad on Sept. 2. He was originally signed by the San Diego Chargers as a college free agent on July 26, 2011, and appeared in five games with the Chargers last season.
