When your father is Clinton Portis, you're going to hear a lot of football stories, meet a lot of legendary players and learn about people you've never had the chance to meet.
The latter is what occurred recently, when Portis took a photo of his two boys in front of a Sean Taylor photo.
"Never had a chance to meet him but in their eyes he's the best to ever do it! Glad I could share this moment w them," he captions his post.
Of course, the two go way back to their playing days at the University of Miami, before eventually meeting up with each other playing for the Redskins.
Portis, who believes Taylor was one of the greatest ever, said last year: "It would shock people to know his hobbies, or what he was passionate about. When you look at a guy that's so ferocious on the field, you wouldn't believe that Sean watched as much film as he watched [and] what he was into – video games, cooking, four-wheelers."
About that last thing…
It seems Portis has found a new hobby himself, this time with two wheels.
The hoverboard, now a staple transportation device for athletes, has another customer in Portis, who seems to be having a lot of fun in what can only be a choreographed production between he and one of his sons.
He also challenges some other NFL father-son duos to best him.
We'll keep an eye on this.
