Colt McCoy Returns To His Alma Mater To Throw Out First Pitch

On Tuesday, Washington Redskins quarterback Colt McCoy threw out the ceremonial first pitch for his Texas Longhorns prior to their baseball game against rival Texas A&M.

McCoy of course, was quarterback at Texas from 2006-09 and is the Longhorns' all-time leader in several categories including passing yards, passing touchdowns, and wins.

It was only fitting that the Texas great's first pitch was to former Longhorns wide receiver Quan Cosby, who caught McCoy's memorable game-winning touchdown pass to beat Ohio State in the 2009 Fiesta Bowl.

McCoy's appearance helped fuel the Longhorns' upset victory over their No. 17 ranked foe and his legendary status in Texas continues to grow.
