Celebrity sighting!

Tom Cruise attended the Redskins-Lions game on Sunday in Detroit as a guest of Redskins owner Daniel M. Snyder.

Cruise was on the Redskins' sidelines at pre-game chatting with team officials and fans. He had a brief conversation with head coach Jim Zorn.

Later, Cruise stopped by the stands and signed autographs for dozens of fans. At one point, he hoisted himself up into the stands to pose for pictures with fans.

For those keeping score, this is the third Redskins game that the famous movie actor has attended since 2006.

The first time was on Sept. 11, 2006 when the Redskins played the Minnesota Vikings in the team's regular season opener on Monday Night Football.

Cruise also attended a Aug. 16, 2008 preseason game between the Redskins and New York Jets at the Meadowlands.

According to the Redskins media guide, Snyder is a partner with Cruise in Cruise/Wagner Productions. Snyder was an Executive Producer of Cruise's 2008 film "Valkyrie."
