Dale Earnhardt Jr. Takes Redskins Players Around Richmond Raceway, Attends #SkinsCamp

Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney has had a busy schedule during Redskins training camp.

Last week, he pronounced Aug. 1 as "Morgan Moses Foundation Day" to honor the team's right tackle and his charitable work. Tuesday, he was at it again, officially deeming Aug. 8 as "Dale Earnhardt Jr. Day," a fitting tribute to the NASCAR great and Redskins fan, whose No. 88 car matched the calendar date.

In keeping with the Redskins theme, several players – Kirk Cousins, Josh Norman, Will Compton, Morgan Moses and Ryan Kerrigan – will get a chance to ride around with Earnhardt Jr. at Richmond Raceway, where the event is being held.

Check back here throughout the day for more coverage of Dale and the team's day at Richmond Raceway. So far, the "Talladega Nights" references are popular.
