In his third game back from a hamstring injury suffered in the opener, DeSean Jackson added to his collection of lengthy touchdowns with a 56-yard score against the Panthers.

Since being able to return to the field two against the New England Patriots, the wonder of when DeSean Jackson was really going to let his presence felt kept popping up.

The three-time Pro Bowler was easily still one of the fastest players out there against the Patriots and New Orleans Saints, but that one of a kind speed just hadn't been seen yet.

Sunday afternoon, though, Jackson served reminder that few, even professionally trained athletes, can keep up with him.

After the Carolina Panthers got on the scoreboard first with a touchdown pass following a Kirk Cousins interception, the Redskins quarterback found Jackson for his first touchdown of the season.

The 56-yard completion was also the Redskins' second longest offensive play of the season.

On 2nd-and-12 from their own 44-yard line, Jackson lined up in the slot to Cousins' right side.

Running straight down the field, Jackson would free himself from the safety Colin Jones before catching the ball at the Panthers' 22-yard line.

Fellow safety Kurt Coleman would catch up to Jackson and even tackle him, but it was only after the wide receiver crossed the goal line for the score.

"I had a chance to make a play, great throw, great play call," Jackson said after the game. "That was the execution of a great play. I wish we could've had more of that throughout the game, but they did a great job of containing us, turn the ball over a couple times and things like that. So, just kind of hard. Frustrating."

In the two weeks prior to Sunday's game, Jackson had just five receptions for 59 yards.

He would finish Sunday's game with five receptions for 87 yards and the touchdown reception.

Even though Jackson was able to find the end zone for the first time this season, it was the Redskins only touchdown on a day where they had five turnovers against an undefeated team in their house.

While the team is 4-1 at FedExField this season, they have yet to come home with a road win this season.

But the team returns home next Sunday for a divisional game against the New York Giants.

With the Redskins (4-6) just one game back of the Giants (5-5) in the division, it will be one of the biggest games of the season.

"We got the Giants and we can just try and take advantage of the opportunities we get, hopefully win our division," Jackson said.
