This week's FedEx Ground Moment of the Week takes a closer look at Kirk Cousins' one-yard touchdown in the Redskins' 20-14 victory over the Giants.

At first it looked like the job had already been completed.

On 3rd and Goal from the four-yard line, Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins dropped back and slung a pass to his left side, connecting with wide receiver Jamison Crowder for what was thought to be a touchdown. [

But after Crowder spun the ball and high-fived teammates in celebration, the referees went under the hood to see if the rookie's knee touched the ground before he extended the ball over the goal line.

After hearing confirming that it, in fact, wasn't a touchdown, the Redskins elected to go for it on 4th and Goal from inside the one-yard line.

A touchdown and an extra point, and the Redskins would take a commanding 17-point lead going into halftime on their NFC East rivals. Get stuffed, and the Giants get the momentum heading into the second half.

Upon hiking the ball, Cousins instantly pushed forward extending the ball over a pile of teammates and New York Giants defensive linemen.

Swallowed up by players on both teams, the referees removed players one by one before confirming the Cousins score, which put the Redskins up 17-0 before they held on for a 20-14 victory.

It was the Michigan State product's third rushing touchdown of the season.
