The Redskins had a lot of stuff to remember in 2016.

Now that the season has come to a close, the Redskins Blog will select its favorite things from Redskins fans, players, coaches and team personnel over the last 12 months.

We'll continue with our five favorite Instagram posts from linebacker/safety Su'a Cravens, who gained quite the fan following during his rookie year.

1. The Kids

Caption: "The reason why I play the game... Yes, the money's nice. Traveling the country playing in a different city every weekend is cool. Even being on national television is still crazy! But the reason I play is for the kids. I used to be that star struck crazy excited kid that wished he'd get to meet an NFL football player. That's why I make sure every game I spot one of those little ME's out on the sideline and create a memory that I never got as a child and that's the ultimate reward! #suuluhdakids."

One of the reasons Redskins fans adored Cravens was because of messages and actions like this. Before every home game, Cravens would have a catch with kids in the stands and seek out others on the sideline to speak and take photos with. He loves the opportunity to change someone's life. It's what being a football player is all about.

2. The NFL Advice

Caption: "As a player that was constantly and only critique about my combine & testing numbers I'm telling you, if you have the heart, passion, and drive nothing will keep you from taking what's yours! These so called experts would rather have test junkies instead of football players! The eye in the sky don't lie big fella! If you A DAWG only time gone tell. Never give up on your dreams! No matter what they may say."

3. The Uncle Drew

Cravens is a California kid, so it's only natural that he know his share of celebrities. There may not be an inherent connection between he and Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving -- except for each of their team's general palette of colors -- but this looked like the start of establishing some celebrity-athlete friend roots.

4. The New Cars

Caption: "Merry Christmas YoYo and Big Kev. Yal deserve much more, but this will do for now! I love yal."

The rookie couldn't make it home to California for Christmas, but he made sure his siblings captured his parents walking out to their gifts from him. Cravens got his mom a car and his dad a truck and both seemed thrilled and surprised with their haul. "I knew I shouldn't have put makeup on," Cravens' mom says as she stares at her new ride, prettied with a bow.

5. The Pick

His first defining moment came during the Redskins' first defining moment of the season, intercepting quarterback Eli Manning to secure the team's first victory of the year over the Giants. This was the talent so many had been waiting to see, and it came at the best time.
