WHAT TO WATCH FOR THIS WEEK

• The Redskins and Rams meeting for an eighth time in the last 10 seasons.

• The Redskins and Rams meeting at FedExField for the first time since 2009.

• The Redskins recording three takeaways for a third consecutive game for the first time since doing so in four straight games across Weeks 9-12 of the 2003 season.

• Kicker Kai Forbath maintaining the highest field goal percentage in team history among players with at least 50 field goal attempts (87.1 percent).

• Forbath (54) making one field goal to pass Sam Baker and John Hall (54) for sole possession of sixth-most in team history.

• Wide receiver Pierre Garçon recording two touchdown receptions to match his single-season best as a member of the Redskins (five in 2013).

• Garçon recording six receptions to reach 400 career receptions.

• Running back Roy Helu, Jr. registering another 30-yard reception. This season, Helu, Jr. has become the first Redskins running back in records available dating back to 1994 to record a reception of at least 30 yards in five games in a single season.

• Helu, Jr. adding to his career high in receiving yards this season (436).

• Wide receiver DeSean Jackson and safety Brandon Meriweather each playing in their 100th career regular season games.

• Jackson improving upon his league-leading 20.0 yards per reception this season.

• Jackson registering his sixth 100-yard receiving game this season to record six 100-yard games in one season by a single Redskins receiver for the fourth time since 1960 (Bobby Mitchell, 7 in 1962 and 6 in 1963; Art Monk, 6 in 1985).

• Jackson gaining 58 receiving yards to post the 28th 1,000-yard receiving season in team history. Jackson would become the fifth player to accomplish the feat in his first season in Washington (Bobby Mitchell in 1962, Henry Ellard in 1994, Laveranues Coles in 2003 and Santana Moss in 2005).

• Jackson adding to his league-leading totals in total touchdowns of 50-plus yards (20), receptions of 25-plus yards (87) and receptions of 50-plus yards (27) since entering the league in 2008.

• Jackson scoring another touchdown covering 50 yards or more to become the first member of the Redskins with four 50-yard touchdowns in a season since Santana Moss (four in 2005).

• Jackson recording a 50-plus yard touchdown to tie Ken Burrough and Devin Hester (21) for sixth-most total touchdowns of 50 yards or more in the NFL since the 1970 merger.

Here's an exclusive look from the Washington Redskins' sideline during their Week 13 game against the Indianapolis Colts.

• Linebacker Ryan Kerrigan improving upon his career-high 9.5 sacks this season.

• Kerrigan (34.0) recording one sack to pass Andre Carter for sole possession of seventh-most career sacks by a member of the Redskins since sacks became an official stat in 1982 (34.0).

• Kerrigan (34.0) notching 1.5 sacks to tie Dave Butz (35.5) for sixth on that list.

• Kerrigan (13) forcing a fumble to pass Ken Harvey for sole possession of the most forced fumbles by a member of the Redskins since 1994.

• Kerrigan forcing a fumble in consecutive games for the first time since Weeks 3-4 of the 2011 season.

• Quarterback Colt McCoy recording 300 passing yards in consecutive games for the first time in his career.

• McCoy becoming the first Redskins quarterback to throw for 300 yards in consecutive games since Robert Griffin III accomplished the feat in three straight contests in Weeks 1-3 of the 2013 season.

• Running back Alfred Morris maintaining the highest rushing average in team history (4.61).

• Morris registering his 12th career 100-yard rushing game to tie Earnest Byner, George Rogers and Terry Allen for fifth-most in team history.

• Morris rushing for 107 yards to become only the fourth player in Redskins history to post three career 1,000-yard rushing season with the Redskins (Clinton Portis, 4; John Riggins, 4; Stephen Davis, 3).

• Morris joining Stephen Davis (1999-2001) as the only players in Redskins history to rush for 1,000 yards in three consecutive seasons.

• Morris recording multiple rushing touchdowns for a third time this season to match his career high (three multi-touchdown games in 2012).

• Morris (821) recording 19 rushing attempts to pass Cliff Battles (839) for eighth in team history.

• Morris improving upon his career-best 14 receptions and 125 receiving yards this season.

• Tight end Niles Paul adding to his career-high 35 receptions and 464 receiving yards this season.

• Punter Tress Way continuing his league-leading pace of 48.3 yards per punt. If maintained, Way's average would rank third in team history, trailing only Sammy Baugh's full-season NFL record (51.4 yards per punt in 1940) and Baugh's 1941 campaign (48.7).

• Way recording a 60-yard punt to become the first Redskins punter to record a 60-yard punt in five games in a single season since Matt Turk (five in 1998).

• Fullback Darrel Young tying a career high with his fourth total touchdown of the season. Young had four touchdowns a season ago (three rushing, one receiving).

A REDSKINS WIN WOULD…

... snap a four-game losing streak.

... improve the Redskins to 25-12-1 all-time against the Rams, including postseason, and push the Redskins to 12-5 against the Rams all-time in regular season home games.

... give the Redskins a second consecutive home win against the Rams for the first time since earning back-to-back playoff victories against the Rams following the 1983 and 1986 seasons.

... represent the Redskins' second win against an NFC opponent this season.

... surpass the Redskins' win total from a season ago (three) and surpass their win total at FedExField from a season ago (two).
