Jordan Reed Slightly Snubbed In Madden 17, Not Top Five Rated Tight End

It appears that yet again Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed has been snubbed of high honors.

Last season, Reed, of course, pieced together a brilliant season for the Redskins, leading the team in receptions (87), receiving yards (952) and receiving touchdowns (11). All that was accomplished in just 14 regular season games (and he only made a brief appearance in the regular season finale against the Dallas Cowboys.)

But for all that Reed did for the Redskins, he did not get a Pro Bowl nod.

Instead, Travis Kelce, Gary Barnidge, Delanie Walker and Tyler Eifert were selected. All certainly had the credentials to be in Hawaii, but so did Reed.

Fast forward to yesterday's top five ranked tight ends in Madden 17 release, and Reed is not one of them.

Rob Gronkowski leads the way with a 99 overall rating followed by Greg Olsen (93), Delanie Walker (93), Eifert (90) and Jimmy Graham (89).

That likely means that Reed is rated 88 overall or even lower. Still a solid rating, but most Redskins fans would agree that the University of Florida product deserves a better score.
