London Fletcher Training Camp Media Session

On how he feels heading into training camp:

"I feel good and ready to go. The good thing about training camp is that you are closer to the season. I am excited."

On feeling like he has been on the team longer than one season:
"It does seem like I have been here for at least two seasons. Last year it seemed like basically two seasons because of the way things worked out. This year I feel obviously more comfortable with my teammates and more comfortable with my role on the defense from a leadership standpoint on this team."

On the importance of training camp:
"I am a firm believer, and this just may be me, but the way you practice is the way you are going to play. You can't just turn it on come Sunday or think you can go through the motions at training camp and expect to have great results come the regular season. I wouldn't be comfortable taking that approach as a player. Some guys are, on some teams. But me personally, I don't want to take that approach, nor do I want my teammates taking that approach."

On the strength of the NFC East:
"This division that we play in is [considered by] a lot of people around the country as the toughest division in the National Football League. Week in and week out we have some extremely good football teams that we are going to face. We sent three teams to the playoffs. The Super Bowl Champion came out of this division and they didn't even win the division. This just goes to show how tough the NFC East is. We feel real good about ourselves as a team and we feel we can compete with anybody within our division and the National Football League.

On the team improving:
"I see us getting better because we are another year together. We have some young guys that played key positions for us last year. They have more experience and are coming into their own. We have added a few more guys to the mix and I think the sky is the limit for us from a defensive standpoint. We did some good things last year, but I see us wanting more from ourselves."
