Hi Redskins Nation!

This is Masako saying hi from Korea again!

After we spent our first two days in Seoul, we split into five different groups and went to the different bases all over Korea. I went with Brielle from Denver Broncos Cheerleaders and T-Rac from Tennessee Titans.  The three of us went to the Osan Air Base on Sunday, February 4th. After we enjoyed a little sightseeing of Downtown Osan, we had our first meet and greet at the base. We were able to say hi to servicemen and women, and also their families. I met several Redskins fans there. It was so nice to see decked out in their Redskins shirts and jerseys!

On Monday, February 5th, it was "Super Bowl Monday" on the Osan Air Base.  We left the hotel at 7:00am to watch the Super Bowl with the troops. The Super Bowl watch party was held at the beautiful Enlisted Club. I was able to walk around the tables to get to talk to troops and took a lot of pictures with them. It was awesome to say thank you in person for all they do and their sacrifices. Also, I learned a lot about their jobs on base.   After the super bowl, we did another meet and greet, and was able to meet more servicemen and women and their families. We went to two gates and fitness facilities to deliver  coffee and donuts to the servicemen and women at our next meet and greet since they were unable to come to the watch party due to work.

"Ihcigo Ichie" - my favorite saying in Japanese which means "Once in the lifetime encounter". I experienced what exactly it means in Korea. I still remember all the servicemen and women I met during this trip and my heart is just a full of appreciation. Thank you Protour Production and Armed Forces Entertainment for giving me this opportunity to tell troops "Thank you" for protecting not only the U.S. but also the world including my country!   Also thank you to my directors, Stephanie Jojokian and Jamilla Keene for giving me this opportunity to represent the team.  Last but not least, thank you to my amazing Team Osan Crew, Osan base event coordinator SrA Delanie Ball, Denver Broncos Cheerleader Brielle and Tennessee Titans T-RAC.

Hail to the Redskins!

Masako
