Linebacker Rocky McIntosh has signed his restricted free agent tender offer, the Redskins announced on Monday.

In addition, the Redskins have released offensive lineman Paul Fanaika and kicker Justin Medlock.

McIntosh had been tendered at a second-round level on March 4, the eve of free agency.

The signing period for restricted free agents ended on April 15, so the Redskins had already retained McIntosh's rights for the 2010 season.

Last year, McIntosh played in all 16 games, with 15 starts, and set a career high with 115 tackles, second-most on the team. He also had two interceptions and two forced fumbles.

McIntosh, 27, has started 45-of-62 regular season games and totaled 346 tackles, three interceptions, five sacks, seven forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

McIntosh joined the Redskins as a second-round draft pick (35th overall) in the 2006 NFL Draft.

Cornerback Carlos Rogers is the Redskins' last unsigned restricted free agent. Both McIntosh and Rogers have been active participants in Redskins' off-season work.
