Meet the Jr. Redskins Cheerleaders Staff

Stephanie Jojokian
Stephanie has an extensive dance and entertainment background. Currently, she is the Director of the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders. Stephanie attended the University of North Carolina-Greensboro and founded the Dance Team program in her freshman year. She minored in Dance and also served as the team's captain and coach. Stephanie danced professionally for the NBA for two seasons with the Washington Wizards and then served as the squad's director and choreographer for seven years. She has coached the Dance Teams for the University of Maryland and The George Washington University, taking both squads to the national level. She spent several years as a head instructor and choreographer for the National Dance Association (NDA), teaching camps all over the United States and Japan. Stephanie also studied in New York City at Alvin Ailey American Dance Center.

Katrina Williams

Jr. Redskins Cheerleader Coordinator

Katrina is in her fourth season as the Jr. Redskins Cheerleader Coordinator. As a five-year veteran of the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders squad, she has learned first hand how to build and sustain a successful program. She began her cheerleading career with the Lanham Boys and Girls of Lanham, Maryland at a young age, cheered throughout high school and then again with the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders. She enjoys crossword puzzles, scrabble and spending time with her husband, Arthanais, 5-year-old daughter, Hailey, 8-month-old son Christopher and dog, Pugsy.

Jamilla Keene

Jr. Redskins Cheerleaders Choreographer

Jamilla is in her fourth season as a Washington Redskins Cheerleader and second season as a team captain. She represented the First Ladies of Football, the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders, at the 2005 Pro Bowl. Before becoming a Washington Redskins Cheerleader, she cheered on the nationally ranked co-ed team at George Mason University. Following her college cheerleading career, she coached the nationally ranked All-Girl cheerleading team at George Mason University. Throughout her career at George Mason, she also taught college, high school, and youth camps for Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) for seven years. She feels honored to be in her second season as the choreographer for the WRC Juniors program.

Stephanie Harkay

Jr. Redskins Cheerleaders Coach

Stephanie was a member of the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders team during the 2005-06 season. She has been dancing for 18 years in such styles as jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop and step. Stephanie is studying to become a wedding consultant and works a full time job as an administrative assistant during her days. She is very excited to be a coach for the Junior Redskins Cheerleaders for the 2006 season.

Gina Latore

Jr. Redskins Cheerleaders Coach

With a Fine Arts degree from George Mason University, Gina taught dance for 17 years. She enjoyed four years of performing and choreographing with the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders and now enjoys spending her days with her four-year-old son and seven-month old daughter. Gina is returning this year as a coach and has coached previously for three years.

Soma Kalb

Jr. Redskins Cheerleaders Coach

Soma Kalb performed with the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders in 1998 before relocating to North Carolina for graduate school. She cheered throughout middle and high school and performed with the University of Maryland Gymkhana exhibitional gymnastics troop in college. During graduate school, she coached several cheerleading camps and took dance classes at local studios. Now that she's back in the area, she is eager to bring dance back into her life as a coach for the Jr. Washington Redskins Cheerleaders.

Laura Vucci

Jr. Redskins Cheerleaders Coach

Laura Vucci was a member of the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders from 2002-05. Her 23 years of dance experience includes ballet/Pointe, tap, jazz, hip-hop and modern as well as serving as a choreographer and instructor for five of those years. Laura resides in Washington, D.C., and is the marketing director for Charlotte Hall Veterans Home. This is her first year as a juniors coach.

Monica Gilliam

Jr. Redskins Cheerleaders Coach

Monica's experience in the arts is quite extensive. She modeled for Wendy Wards, attended Duke Ellington School of Arts and from there went to the Baltimore School of Arts College. Monica was a member of the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders for three years and danced with NBA Washington Bullets as a Bullette Cheerleader for seven years. She also danced with Baltimore Entertainment for five years.

Tiffany Ligon

Jr. Redskins Cheerleaders Coach

Tiffany a 2-year veteran of the Washington Redskins Cheerleader Ambassadors, was raised in rural Louisiana and now resides in Towson, Md. She studied dance at Towson University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. Her dance experience is quite extensive as she studied ballet and modern dance at the Boston Conservatory in Boston. She formally trained in hip-hop dance with Sky Dancer Productions and currently teaches hip-hop dance and Pilates at several sites in Baltimore. She has participated in various modeling experiences and was photographed and featured on Towson University's official website. She participates in many activities providing social support to U.S. military personnel and their families.

Essence Moore

Jr. Redskins Cheerleaders Coach

Essence has been dancing since the age of seven. She has many years of experience in ballet, modern, jazz, hip-hop and liturgical dance. She resides in Clinton, Md., and teaches many dance groups including Bowie State University, Elizabeth Seton High School and others. This is her first year as a Junior Redskins Cheerleaders coach.

Vihky Smith

Jr. Redskins Cheerleaders Coach

Vihky was born and raised in Washington, D.C. She studied with the D.C. Youth Ensemble, Norfolk State University, University of the District of Columbia and Alvin Ailey American Dance Academy. Vihky has been with the Redskins organization for three years as the assistant coach of the nationally ranked Junior Redskins All-Star Cheerleaders, co-Director of the Redskins Dance Camps, a former Captain of the Washington Redskins Cheerleader Ambassador for 3 seasons and as a coach for the Junior Redskins Cheerleaders. Vihky has enjoyed dance since her youth and has been active in such dance groups and currently dances with the Capitol Movement, Inc. She was a Washington Bullets/Wizards Cheerleader for more than 10 years. She has taken her dancing skills on tour to countries such as Egypt, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Macedonia, Bosnia, Germany, Jordan, and many others. Vihky has choreographed routines for many local dance groups and artists and was also seen in Crystal Waters' music video, "Just Say Hey."
