To Vernon Davis, one of the biggest things he strives to instill in the minds of the youth is the value of creativity. From this, stemmed the creation of the **Vernon Davis Foundation for the Arts**, the organization he will be supporting for My Cause My Cleats this season.

With a mission statement focusing on envisioning "communities where the arts are vital to social development and represent a positive alternative for youth dealing with stress and peer pressure," Davis and the foundation have been able to positively impact the lives of many, and take in some impressive art along the way.

"It's been great, it's been great to interact with some of the kids in the area," Davis said. "Interact and just inspire them to do better, and to think outside the box with all their heart."

While Davis has been able to grow awareness for his foundation through events, the opportunity to represent it through "My Cause My Cleats" will be a special moment for the tight end -- not only to spread his message, but to demonstrate the passion and appreciation for those who work to make the world a better place.

"You care about what you're doing, what you're involved in. Not only that, but as a whole, we're bringing more awareness to the cause that we're supporting," Davis said. "Not just my foundation, but I support everyone. I support everyone, I think it's a great deal that these players are coming out here and representing what they stand for and what they believe in."
