Albert Haynesworth and DeAngelo Hall returned to the Redskins' lineup on Sunday, but Cornelius Griffin was sidelined with a shoulder injury.

Haynesworth missed three of the last four games with an ankle injury, while Hall missed the last three games with a knee injury.

Haynesworth recorded a sack of quarterback Eli Manning to force the Giants to settle for a first-half field goal. He finished with six tackles in the game.

Hall logged two tackles and one pass defended.

Griffin aggravated a shoulder injury in last week's game vs. Oakland and was limited in practice last week.

Kedric Golston, who had started as Haynesworth rehabbed his injury, drew the starting assignment in place of Griffin.

The Redskins' complete list of inactives was as follows: cornerback Kevin Barnes, offensive linemen Edwin Williams and Paul Fanaikia, linebackers Alvin Bowen and Curtis Gatewood, wide receiver Marko Mitchell and Griffin. The third quarterback was Richard Bartel.

-- ZORN ON COACHING RUMORS

With Bruce Allen taking over as executive vice president and general manager of the Redskins, rumors and reports swirl on the coaching future of head coach Jim Zorn.

Not surprising, Zorn is not paying any attention to the rumors.

"I'm not aware of that and I wouldn't even try to go there," Zorn said last week. "Because I am not looking towards what is going to happen this offseason or next season yet. We're right in the middle of it. For us, I'm kind of excited about where we're heading."
