It may not officially be "Community Tuesday," but Washington Redskins tight end Niles Paul is still giving back to those in need in the Washington, D.C. area.

Paul – who remains in the area at this time – tweeted out the above photo of him handing out pizzas and water at a homeless shelter in the Nation's Capital.

He would go on to write on Instagram: "Woke up this morning & decided to head out to DC. Posted up outside of the homeless shelter with my brothers & a few friends. Handed out over 50 pizzas with waters to my people out here in need. It definitely wasn't enough but we tried to make it work."

While he was born and raised in Nebraska, Paul said that Washington, D.C., is now home after signing a new contract during the offseason.

"This football team wanted me here, I wanted to be here, and I was very clear with my agent where I wanted to be at," Paul said. "We worked out the written part of it, and I'm back. I'm home."
