Marshall is the 17th selection in the tenure of General Manager Scot McCloughan and the 25th selection of the Jay Gruden era. * Marshall is the 456th selection made by the Redskins in the Common Draft era (since 1967) and the 59th seventh-round selection in that time frame. He is the 90th seventh-round selection by the Redskins all-time since the institution of the draft in 1936. * Marshall is the 16th player from Georgia selected by the Redskins all-time, joining B Bill Hartman (1938), C Quinton Lumpkin (1939), C Clyde Ehrhardt (1944), E Joe Tereshinski (1946), G Homer Hobbs (1949), G Don Shea (1955), E Bill Herron (1960), G Billy Roland (1960), T Len Vella (1962), C Len Hauss (1964), T George Patton (1966), HB Joe Burson (1966), CB Champ Bailey (1999), DL Kedric Golston (2006) and S Bacarri Rambo (2013). * Marshall is the third player selected by the Redskins with the No. 242 overall pick all-time, joining G Bob Jones (1964) and DE/LB Rob Jackson (2008). * Marshall is the second Georgia running back drafted into the NFL in the last two years, joining Los Angeles RB Todd Gurley (2015).
