Who are the R Team members?
The R Team is an interactive entertainment team comprised of men and women who entertain fans at Redskins home game.

How do I become a member of the R Team?
You must attend the R Team audition to become a member of the team.

What are the requirements to become a R Team member?

• Must be at least 18 by May 5, 2019
• Must commit to work all Redskins home games and special events
• Must commit to monthly meetings, training & scheduled rehearsals
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Ability to be friendly and courteous, regardless of the situation
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Able to stand for long periods of time, walk long distances, and climb stairs
• Be a team player who is able to work well in a fast paced environment
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of the Washington Redskins, the NFL and football in general

When and where are auditions?
Auditions for the R Team are being held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at FedExField. Check-in for auditions start at 10:00am. Click here to register.

Are auditions open to the public?
Auditions are closed to the public.

What will I have to do for auditions?
Audition will include an interview round where you tell us a little bit about yourself, and a skills round.

• Interview Round: Tell us a little bit about yourself 0:60 seconds
• Skills Round: Show all types of spirit abilities to include but not limited to, crowd engagement, ability to run flags, flag corp skills, tumbling skills, stunting skills, etc.

Is there a fee for auditions?
Yes, the fee to audition is $25.00.

What do I wear for auditions?

• Males – Athletic Shirt, Athletic Pants or Shorts with Sneakers/Running Shoes
• Females – Fitted Athletic Tank or Supportive Half Top, Athletic Leggings/Capris/Shorts with Sneakers

How should I wear my hair and makeup?
Your hairstyle and makeup should professional & complement your features.

Will I make the squad if I have a tattoo or facial/body piercings?
If tattoo is visible in the uniform or practice wear, you must have it covered with make up at all times. Facial and Body piercings must be removed when in uniform or practice wear.

What type of photo should I submit with my application?
All applicants must submit a recent full body photo in athletic wear and a head shot with their application.

If I make the team, what are my commitments?
You must be available for all Redskins home games, monthly meetings & trainings, and scheduled rehearsals. You may also be asked to participate in additional special events and community outreach.
