Rashad Ross wanted to go above and beyond his efforts last season for the Redskins, as the Arizona State product's goal was to make the active roster in Washington following stints with the team's practice squad last season.
After leading all receivers in yards, receptions and touchdowns during the preseason, his goal became reality Saturday afternoon.
The wide receiver posted the above Instagram photo following word that he had made the team.
While his role moving forward has yet to be determined, Ross knows that he'll have to be a willing special teamer.
"I'm not the star receiver, I'm not number one, number two. I'm at the bottom of the list," Ross said Thursday night following a 10-catch, 103-yard effort. "Special teams is really big for a guy in my position. So I got to work on things like that. That's something I have to do. So that's really big."
