Goldson (6-2, 200) is a veteran of nine NFL seasons after being originally selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the fourth round (126th overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft.  As a two-time Pro Bowler (2011, 2012) and a first-team All-Pro in 2012, he has appeared in 108 career games with 91 starts, recording 480 tackles (379 solo), 15 interceptions and six forced fumbles.

After six seasons with the 49ers, Goldson signed with the Buccaneers as a free agent on March 13, 2013. During his career, Goldson has recorded three seasons of 100 tackles (2009, 2010, 2012) and has led his team in interceptions twice (2009, 2012) while tying for the team lead once (2011).

Goldson played collegiately at Washington from 2004-06.  He started 32 of his 33 games and recorded 194 tackles, 22 passes defensed, four interceptions, four fumble recoveries and one touchdown.  He was named an honorable mention All-Pac-10 during his senior season.

Goldson attended Narbonne H.S. in Los Angeles, where he earned first-team All-Marine League honors during his final two seasons.  He was born on Sept. 18, 1984 in Carson, Calif.
