The Washington Redskins announced today that they have signed unrestricted free agent cornerback E.J. Biggers. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

He returned from injury in Week 4 against the Washington Redskins, registering a tackle and pass defensed.

From 2009-11, he played under current Redskins defensive backs coach Raheem Morris, Tampa Bay's head coach during those seasons.

Biggers, 25, played collegiately at Western Michigan from 2005-08, appearing in 46 games with 40 starts and named second-team All-MAC as a senior.

Edjuan "E.J." Biggers was born on June 13, 1987, in Miami. He attended the city's North Miami Beach H.S., where he was named Dade County Player of the Year as a senior in 2004.
