Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic, the Official Sports Network of the Washington Redskins, and the Washington Redskins today announced that they have expanded their exclusive media and marketing partnership with a new multi-year agreement.

This agreement makes Comcast SportsNet the exclusive local Redskins HD provider for preseason games including contests against the Ravens on August 13, the reigning
Super Bowl champion Steelers on August 22, and the Jaguars on September 3. The Redskins' preseason game on August 28 is being telecast nationally on CBS.

Comcast SportsNet is also expanding its comprehensive Redskins coverage by adding an exclusive one-on-one interview with Head Coach Jim Zorn every Monday at 5:45 pm, as well as exclusive interviews with other members of the coaching staff.

As part of the expanded agreement, Comcast SportsNet will continue to air Redskins Kickoff and Redskins Postgame Live, the area's most comprehensive and entertaining pre- and postgame commentary featuring insider previews, locker room access, player reports and gameday strategy. Other programming includes Redskins Nation, Comcast SportsNet's daily team update giving fans the latest news and outlook on players, coaches and personnel.

Comcast SportsNet's Redskin's experienced team of reporters, analysts and commentators includes Chick Hernandez, Kelli Johnson, Trevor Matich, Brian Mitchell, Antonio Freeman, Doc Walker, and Doug Gansler.

For every home game, Comcast SportsNet will broadcast live from the set at Comcast SportsNet Gate at FedExField to give viewers the latest player and team reports against the backdrop of the home game tailgate experience. Coverage will originate from Comcast SportsNet's studios for every away game.

"We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Washington Redskins and provide even deeper coverage to their wide and passionate fan base," said Comcast SportsNet Senior Vice President and General Manager Rebecca Schulte. "Because of this partnership we are able to take our viewers further behind the scenes and closer to the action than any other outlet in the market."

"Our fans know that Comcast SportsNet is the place to go for the most comprehensive Redskins coverage on television," said Redskins Senior Vice President and Executive Producer of the Redskins Broadcast Network, Larry Michael. "We are expanding our relationship with Comcast SportsNet because whenever there are Redskins updates, from breaking news to feature pieces, Comcast SportsNet is there."
