A list of stats and notes from the Washington Redskins' 37-27 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, presented by BDO by the Numbers, as compiled by Redskins Public Relations.

GENERAL

  • The Washington Redskins fell to the Philadelphia Eagles, 37-27 on Sunday afternoon at FedexField.
  • The Redskins captains were QB Case Keenum, RB Adrian Peterson, G Brandon Scherff, S Landon Collins, DT Jonathan Allen and LB Ryan Kerrigan.

OFFENSE:

  • The Redskins recorded 19 first downs, their third-straight game of at least 18. It is the team's longest streak since Week 3-Week 6 of last season.
  • The Redskins scored 27 points, tied for the second-highest mark of the season.
  • The Redskins finished with 101 yards rushing, their third straight game of 100+ yards. It is the second time of the season the team has accomplished that.
  • The Redskins didn't allow a sack for the first time since Week 6.
  • The Redskins had 362 total net yards and that is tied for the second most in a single game this season.
  • The Redskins finished with 261 passing yards, their highest mark since Week 3 and their third most this season.
  • The Redskins had a 75-yard touchdown, their longest play of the season.
  • The Redskins totaled 216 yards in the first half, second most this season [Week 1, 278 vs. Philadelphia].
  • The Redskins had 178 passing yards in the first half, second most this season [Week 1, 257 vs. Philadelphia].
  • Quarterback Dwayne Haskins Jr. finished with 261 yards on 19-of-28 passing with two passing touchdowns. He added 26 yards on the ground with four carries.
  • Haskins Jr. finished with a career high in yards and QB rating [121.3] as well as tying a career high in completions [19].
  • Haskins Jr.'s 121.3 passer rating was the highest for a Redskins quarterback since Kirk Cousins posted a 132.6 passer rating in Week 11 of the 2017 season.
  • Haskins Jr. threw for his second multiple-touchdown game of the season.
  • Haskins Jr. is the 10th rookie quarterback in franchise history to throw for 1,000 yards.
  • Haskins Jr.'s 75-yard touchdown in the first quarter is tied for the fourth-longest by a rookie in the NFL this season.
  • Haskins Jr. completed his first six passes, the longest completion streak of his career.
  • Haskins Jr. is one of five rookie quarterbacks to throw for more than 175 yards in a first half this season [David Blough, Garner Minshew II, Kyler Murray, Drew Lock].
  • Haskins Jr. had a 23-yard run in the third quarter, the longest of his career. It is the longest run by a quarterback since Robert Griffin III's 23-yard run in 2014.
  • Haskins Jr.'s 75-yard touchdown pass was the second-longest for a rookie at FedexField in franchise history. Kirk Cousins has the longest pass for a rookie at FedexField, which was a 77-yard touchdown pass to Santana Moss on Oct. 7, 2012.
  • Haskins Jr. threw touchdown passes to two rookie wide receivers today [Terry McLaurin and Steven Sims Jr.]. The Redskins and the Arizona Cardinals are the only two teams this season to have a rookie quarterback throw touchdowns passes to two or more rookie wide receivers in a single game. Arizona accomplished this feat on Oct. 31, 2019.
  • Running Back Adrian Peterson rushed for 66 yards [4.1 avg.] and a touchdown on his 16 carries.
  • Peterson [14,102] moved to No. 5 on the NFL's all-time rushing list, passing Curtis Martin [14,101].
  • Peterson [3,008] is now No. 10 on the NFL's all-time carries list, passing Eric Dickerson [2,996].
  • Peterson is the 10th player in NFL history to record 3,000+ carries.
  • Peterson [110] is now tied for with No. 4 Walter Payton on the NFL's all-time rushing touchdown list.
  • Running Back Chris Thompson recorded 26 receiving yards on a pair of catches.
  • Wide Receiver Terry McLaurin finished with 130 receiving yards on five catches with a touchdown.
  • McLaurin's 130 yards is the seventh most by a rookie this season.
  • McLaurin has three games with 100+ receiving yards and a touchdown reception, most in franchise history by a rookie.
  • McLaurin is the third rookie in franchise history to have 50 catches, 750 receiving yards and five touchdown receptions, joining Gary Clark [1985] and Charley Taylor [1964].
  • McLaurin [833] is now No. 3 in franchise history in receiving yards by a rookie, passing Art Monk [797] and Charlie Taylor [814]. He needs 93 receiving yards to pass Gary Clark [926] for the franchise record.
  • McLaurin [three] tied a franchise record of 100-yard receiving games by a rookie [Gary Clark, 1985].
  • McLaurin [nine] set a franchise record in most games with 50+ receiving yards by a rookie.
  • McLaurin now is in sole possession of second place in franchise history for touchdown receptions by a rookie with seven. He needs two touchdown receptions to pass Charley Brown [eight] for the franchise record.
  • McLaurin had a 75-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter, the longest of his career. It is the third-longest touchdown reception by a rookie in franchise history [Rod Gardner, 81; Matt Jones, 78].
  • McLaurin's 75-yard touchdown is tied for the second longest touchdown reception by a rookie the Eagles have given up in franchise history [Terrence Wilkins, 80, 1999].
  • McLaurin has eight 25+ yard receptions, second most in franchise history by a rookie [Anthony Armstrong, nine, 2010.].
  • Wide Receiver Steven Sims Jr. posted five catches with 45 yards [both career highs] and his first career touchdown reception.
  • Center Chase Roullier started his 35th career game.

DEFENSE:

  • The Redskins finished with two sacks and extended their streak of having at least two sacks to 10 straight games. It is the first time the team has accomplished that feat since 1990 and is the fourth longest streak in franchise history.
  • Defensive Tackle Jonathan Allen had nine tackles [seven solo] and two tackles for loss. Allen now has back-to-back 50-tackle seasons.
  • Allen has five games of two-plus tackles for loss since 2018. Entering the game, only three players had five or more such games [Aaron Donald, 11; Geno Atkins, 6; Chris Jones, 5].
  • Linebacker Jon Bostic posted five solo tackles and has 94 on the season, his second 90-tackle season of his career.
  • Linebacker Cole Holcomb finished with six solo tackles.
  • Holcomb [91] is now No. 4 in franchise history for tackles by a rookie, passing Derek Smith [87].
  • Holcomb is the 10th player in NFL history to be taken with the 150th pick or later and record 90 tackles in their rookie season.
  • Linebacker Ryan Anderson finished with five tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles and a tackle for loss. It is his second consecutive game with a strip sack.
  • Anderson's three forced fumbles in a game is tied for the second most in NFL history with 18 other players. The most recent player to accomplish this feat was Dallas DT David Irving on Oct. 16, 2016. Charles Tillman holds the NFL record with four forced fumbles in a single game.
  • Anderson is the third player in Redskins history to record at least five tackles, two sacks and two forced fumbles in a game.
  • Cornerback Fabian Moreau recorded five tackles [three solo] and a pass defensed.
  • Cornerback Danny Johnson started his first game of the season and finished with 10 tackles [nine solo] and one pass defensed.
  • Safety Landon Collins registered five tackles [three solo] and had one quarterback hit.
  • Collins has 111 tackles this season, placing him No. 7 all-time in franchise history for tackles by a defensive back. He is the first defensive back since Sam Shade [112] in 1999 to reach 110 tackles.
  • Safety Montae Nicholson recorded five tackles [four solo].

SPECIAL TEAMS

  • Kicker Dustin Hopkins made a pair of field goals [53 and 43] and made all three PATs.
  • Hopkins [13] is now one 50+ yard field goal away from tying Mark Moseley for the most in franchise history.
  • Punter Tress Way pinned a pair of kicks inside the 20-yard line and has 26 this season.
  • Way has at least 25 punts pinned inside the 20 for the third consecutive year.
  • Kickoff Returner Steven Sims Jr. had three kick returns for 89 yards [29.7 avg.] with a long of 41 yards.
