For the 38-31 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving, the Washington Redskins, QB Robert Griffin III and RB Alfred Morris combined for four weekly NFL award nominations, including two for Rookie of the Week. They are listed as follows:

'Never Say Die' Moment of the Week:

The 'Never Say Die' Moment of the Week is the best moment or play of the week that represents determination and perseverance.

The Redskins win over the Cowboys is this week's first nominee:

**

RGIII, Redskins battle back into playoff race:**  Following a Week 9 loss at home to the Carolina Panthers, the Washington Redskins fell to 3-6 and the team's hopes of a playoff run seemed lost. Two games later, the Redskins are in the thick of the postseason chase in the NFC.

A 38-31 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day was the team's second consecutive win, and was sparked by an impressive performance through the air by QB Robert Griffin III. RGIII threw four touchdown passes in his return to his home state of Texas.

The game was the Redskins' first on Thanksgiving Day since 2002. The win was the Redskins' first Thanksgiving Day win since defeating the Detroit Lions, 20-0, in 1973.

The win was the Redskins' first Thanksgiving Day win against Dallas in franchise history.  It was also the Redskins' first-ever win at Cowboys Stadium in four games there.

The 38 points scored are the most scored by the Redskins on Thanksgiving Day in team history. The team's previous high was 23 points (Nov. 28, 1974 at Dallas).

Fans may vote for one of these three moments on NFL.com/gmc following Monday Night Football and ending on Friday at 3 PM ET to determine the 'Never Say Die' Moment of the Week.  The winner will be announced Friday during NFL Network's "Around the League" show and then posted on NFL.com.

After the regular season, fans will have a chance to determine the GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Year, from among the 17 weekly winners.  Fans can vote for the winner and enter for a chance to win a trip to Super Bowl XLVII on NFL.com/gmc throughout the month of January.

NFL Week 12 Rookie Of The Week:

Redskins fans must make a difficult choice for NFL Week 12 Rookie of the Week, as both quarterback Robert Griffin III and running back Alfred Morris are nominated for the award.

A closer look at the Redskins' finalists:

Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III completed 20-of-28 passes for 311 yards and four touchdowns in the Redskins' 38-31 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. * Redskins running back Alfred Morris gained 113 yards on 24 carries and scored once in the Redskins' 38-31 win against the Dallas Cowboys.

Fans can vote early and often at NFL.com/rookies beginning Tuesday at 9 a.m. ET and ending on Friday at 3 P.M. ET to determine the NFL Rookie of the Week.  The winner will be announced Friday on NFL Total Access on NFL Network and on NFL.com.

After the regular season, five players will be nominated for NFL Rookie of the Year honors.  Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com/rookies throughout the month of January.

FedEx Air Player of the Week:

For his four-touchdown performance against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 12, Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III has been nominated for FedEx Air Player of the Week.

In the game, Griffin III broke the single-season team records for passing yards by a rookie (Norm Snead's 2,337 in 1961) and passing touchdowns by a rookie (Eddie LeBaron's 14 in 1952).

He is also the first player in Redskins history to pass for four touchdowns in consecutive games. He is only the second NFL player this season with four touchdown passes in consecutive weeks and is the only player to do so without the benefit of a bye week in between games (New Orleans' Drew Brees threw for four touchdowns in Weeks 5 and 7 with a bye in Week 6).

For the season, Griffin III is now 206-for-305 (67.5 percent) for 2,504 yards with 16 touchdowns.

Fans can vote for one player as NFL.com/FedEx from 9 a.m. EST on Tuesday through 3 p.m. EST on Friday to determine the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week.

The winners will be announced Friday on NFL Total Access on NFL Network and on NFL.com.
