D.J. Swearinger Sr.'s life changed forever when his son was born. While the veteran safety is active in his son's life daily, Sunday created a special time.

In a recent feature on WUSA9, Darren Haynes talked to Swearinger about what it is like being a father and the influence he has on his son.

"I've got to teach him the wrongs from the rights," Swearinger said to Haynes. "He got to live and learn. I got to prepare him to be one of the best man in world history, to be a legend in whatever he chooses. Seeing him every day, you know, puts a smile on my face."

Swearinger was not the only player to spend his Father's Day in a positive way. Tight end Vernon Davis used the time off after minicamp to take a family vacation.

Davis spent his Father's Day enjoying the beach in the Bahamas with his wife and children.

Growing up 24 miles from the Inova Sports Performance Center at Redskins Park in Loudoun County, Va., Greg Stroman had no problems making the trip to visit his father on Sunday. Having the influence on Stroman throughout his life, he showed his appreciation for his father on his Instagram as well.
