Redskins Rewards Loyalty Program Introduced

The Washington Redskins in 2015 introduced a new season ticket holder loyalty program, "Redskins Rewards." The Redskins Rewards program provides unique opportunities to enhance the Season Ticket Holder's game day experience as well as other customer benefits.

Redskins Rewards includes a points based program that allows season ticket holders to redeem points or "yards" for unique and exclusive rewards, as well as inclusion in a Season Ticket Holder Wall of Fame and a special game day recognition for selective long time season ticket holders.

"The Rewards program is a definite enhancement to the season ticket holder experience, and has already added to our enjoyment of spending the day tailgating and watching the game," said Bill Yenson, a Redskins Season Ticket Holder since 2013.

Yenson has already used his yards for multiple items, including a Redskins Yearbook, a Season Ticket Holder koozie and the Pregame Huddle Experience.

Yenson said his experience in the pregame tunnel "was easily the best part of the Rewards program that I have taken advantage of.

"And I would definitely encourage other members to not miss out on this opportunity," he continued. "I had looked at other 'experience' type rewards, but when I saw this, I felt it could be something special."

Other exclusive experiences include the opportunity to kick field goals on the field following each home game and the chance to view Redskins head coach Jay Gruden's postgame press conference from the interview room.

Not only are Season Ticket Holders being treated like VIPs on game days, but also on non-game days. Mark Crusante, a Redskins Season Ticket Holder since 2007, won an auction to watch a live taping of "Redskins Nation" with Larry Michael and also toured Redskins Park.

Crusante described his experience at Redskins Park as "priceless."

"With my father by my side, the ability to have such greats as Doug Williams and President Bruce Allen wish us 'Good morning' truly made our day special," he said. "Of course, let's not forget Larry Michael! Larry Michael, the Voice of the Redskins made our experience great, and he even gave us a shout out on Redskins Nation!"

The Wall of Fame
To recognize longtime Season Ticket Holders, the areas outside of Section 109 and Section 130 at FedExField have been transformed into a Season Ticket Wall of Fame. The new Season Ticket Holder Wall of Fame digitally displays the names of all of the team's 20+ year season ticket holders.

For Jessica Duncan, whose family has had season tickets since 1961 at RFK Stadium, it was an emotional moment seeing her name on the wall.

"I waited and watched the names and was teary eyed when I saw my name and my sister's name," Duncan said. "What a nice thing for you to do."

After the game, she posted the following message to Facebook:

"Thanking my late Dad for buying 5 Redskins Season tickets back in 1961 at the District of Columbia Stadium, which in 1969 was renamed RFK, and passing them down. We discovered today that they now have a digital board which scrolls through the names of long time, "never give up," season ticket holders! Some things you just shouldn't let go of and continue to pass down."

In-Game Recognition
During each game this season, the Redskins are highlighting one season ticket holder's story and sharing it the Gameday Magazine and on the video boards.

On Sept. 20th, the Redskins recognized the Flaherty family, season ticket holders since 1938, during their impressive victory against the St. Louis Rams.

Flaherty said, "The victory over the Rams was great, being recognized as a long standing season ticket holder was wonderful.

"I could not have scripted it better," he said.

Flaherty said the entire day was an emotional experience.

"I thought of my Dad often and all of the special times we shared together at Redskin games over the years," he said. "I am so glad that you helped created such a memorable experience for me and my son, Devin."
