Redskins Sign 11 College Free Agents

The Washington Redskins today announced the signing of 11 college free agents, including seven on offense, three on defense and one special teamer.

Reggie Bell – WR – 5-11, 201 pounds – San Diego

Played collegiately at San Diego from 2010-14, finishing his college career ranking seventh all-time in school history in receptions (172), fourth in receiving yards (2,729) and seventh in touchdown receptions (24) in 44 games played... Earned second-team all-conference from the Pioneer Football League as a senior in 2014 after catching 40 passes for 779 yards with seven touchdowns... As a junior in 2013, hauled in a team-best 65 receptions for 1,050 yards with nine touchdowns, earning the Toreros' Offensive Most Valuable Player award and All-PFL First Team honors... Appeared in 10 games with seven starts in 2012, ranking second on the team with 47 receptions for 736 yards with a team-high six touchdowns... Redshirted in 2011... Appeared in all 11 games as a freshman in 2010, recording 20 receptions for 159 yards.

Brey Cook – OL – 6-5, 303 pounds – Arkansas

Played collegiately at Arkansas from 2011-14, appearing in 48 games with 30 starts... Started all 13 games at right tackle as a senior in 2014, helping Alex Collins and Jonathan Williams become the only FBS teammates to each rush for 1,000-plus yards that season... Appeared in all 12 games and made 11 starts as a junior in 2013, starting the first four games at guard and moving to tackle for the final seven games... In 2012, played in all 12 games with six starts and helped Arkansas break 20 school or conference records... Played in 11 games as a true freshman in 2011.

Corey Crawford – DL – 6-5, 299 pounds – Clemson

Played collegiately at Clemson from 2011-14, appearing in 51 games with 35 starts and posting 155 tackles (25.5 for loss), six sacks, one interception, eight pass breakups, two forced fumbles and two fumbles recovered in his career... Played 11 games with 10 starts as a senior in 2014, contributing 27 tackles (seven for loss), two sacks and one pass breakup... Was an Honorable Mention All-ACC selection as a junior in 2013, contributing 52 tackles (10.5 for loss), three sacks, one interception and two forced fumbles in 13 games with 12 starts... Started all 13 games as a sophomore in 2012, posting 47 tackles, (six for loss), one sack and a team-high two fumbles recovered... Appeared in 14 games as a freshman in 2011, adding 29 tackles (two for loss).

Dyshawn Davis – LB – 6-2, 227 pounds – Syracuse

Played collegiately at Syracuse from 2011-14, starting 47 of the 49 games in which he played... Registered 252 tackles (157 solo), seven sacks and one interception in his career, also ranking sixth in Syracuse history in career tackles for loss (37.5). Started all 12 games as a senior in 2014, posting a career-best 71 tackles (53 solo) and three forced fumbles... As a junior in 2013, started all 12 games and recorded 49 tackles (33 solo), two sacks and a forced fumble... Started all 13 games in 2012, contributing 69 tackles (44 solo, 13 for loss) with one sack, an interception and a 52-yard fumble return for touchdown... Played in all 12 games with 10 starts as a freshman in 2010, leading the Orange with with 10.5 tackles for a loss among his 43 tackles. Also added four sacks.

Connor Halliday – QB – 6-3, 204 pounds – Washington State

Played collegiately at Washington State from 2010-14, setting school career records with 11,304 passing yards, 90 touchdown passes, 1,013 completions, 1,633 pass attempts, 21 games of 300-plus passing yards and a 62.0 completion percentage... Appeared in 35 games with 28 starts and led the Cougars to their first bowl appearance in 10 seasons in 2013... Started nine games in 2014 before suffering a season-ending broken ankle, earning All- Pac-12 honorable mention after throwing for 3,873 yards and 32 touchdowns on 354-of-526 passing... Started all 13 games as a team captain in 2013, setting conference records in pass attempts (714), completions (449), a school record in passing yards (4,597) and tying the WSU mark for passing touchdowns (34). Broke an NCAA record with 89 pass attempts at Oregon... Played in nine games with five starts in 2012, completing 151-for- 290 for 1,874 yards with 15 touchdowns... Made one start among his four games played in 2011, completing 59-of-103 passes for 960 yards with nine touchdowns... Redshirted in 2010.

Tony Jones – WR – 5-11, 201 pounds – Northwestern

Played collegiately at Northwestern from 2010-14, appearing in 43 games with 32 starts and posting 130 career receptions for 1,445 yards with 10 touchdowns. Also added 13 career punt returns for 137 yards with a touchdown and seven kickoff returns for 167 yards... Caught 35 passes for 323 yards and a touchdown as a senior in 2014. Also returned a punt 64 yards for a touchdown against Purdue... Led Wildcats with 55 receptions for 630 yards and four touchdowns in 2013... As a sophomore in 2012, led Northwestern with four receiving touchdowns among his 29 receptions for 335 yards in 13 games... Redshirted with a knee injury in 2011... Was one of five true freshmen to play for Northwestern in 2010, recording 11 catches for 157 yards and a touchdown in eight games.

Played collegiately at UAB, kicking in 48 games across the 2011-14 seasons. Converted 59-of-77 field goals and 145-of-159 PATs for 322 points during his college career and also punted five times for an average of 39.2 yards per punt... His 59 made field goals are a UAB record... Converted 13-of-17 field goal attempts as a senior in 2014... In 2013, finished season 16-of-24 on field goal attempts, with five of his misses coming from 47 yards or beyond. Was perfect on PATs, converting all 35 attempts... Ranked second in Conference USA (to only Groza Award winner Cairo Santos) in field goal accuracy at 82.4 percent in 2012, making 14-of-17 field goal attempts and making a school-record 54-yard field goal at Ohio State... Hit 16-of-19 field goals and 24-of-25 PATs as a freshman in 2011.

Played collegiately at BYU from 2010-14, appearing in 44 games and catching 46 career passes for 554 yards and five touchdowns... Recorded a career- best 244 receiving yards and 20 receptions with three touchdowns as a senior in 2014. Received 2014 FBS All-Independent Team honorable mention... Caught seven passes for 64 yards in 10 games as a junior in 2013... Recorded eight receptions as a sophomore in 2012, gaining 128 yards and scoring two touchdowns... Redshirted with a neck injury in 2011... As a freshman in 2010, posted 11 receptions for 118 yards in 12 games.

Terrance Plummer – LB – 5-11, 231 pounds – Central Florida

Played collegiately at UCF from 2011-14, playing in 51 games with 38 starts. Recorded 334 career tackles (177 solo, 30.5 for loss), 6.5 sacks, four interceptions, four forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries... Earned firstteam All-AAC honors after playing in 13 games with 12 starts as a senior in 2014. Voted team captain and named the squad's Most Valuable Player for a season in which he led the team with 99 tackles, 4.0 sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one interception... As a junior in 2013, earned All-American Athletic Conference First Team and SI.com Honorable Mention All-American honors after starting all 13 games on UCF's 12-1 Fiesta Bowl championship team. Led the Knights with 110 tackles and notched 2.5 sacks, two interceptions and two forced fumbles and was named Defensive MVP of the 2014 Fiesta Bowl... Started 12 of the 14 games in which he appeared in 2012, leading all UCF linebackers with 108 tackles... As a true freshman in 2010, played in 11 games with one start and recorded 17 tackles (12 solo).

Tyler Rutenbeck – WR – 6-2, 186 pounds – Dubuque

Played collegiately at Dubuque from 2011-14, exiting as the program's record holder in career receiving touchdowns (42). Ranks third in school history in receiving yards (2,715) and fourth in receptions (163)... Earned firstteam All-Iowa Conference honors as a senior in 2014, catching 66 passes for 918 yards with 11 touchdowns... Set school record with 11 straight games with a touchdown reception and led Division III with 22 receiving touchdowns as a junior in 2013, second-most in a season in school history. Gained 1,269 yards on 68 receptions, earning First Team All-Iowa Conference, First Team Associated Press Little All-American (D2-D3-NAIA), AFCA Division III All-American and D3football.com All-American honors, among many others... As a sophomore in 2012, caught 28 passes for 520 yards with a team-high nine touchdowns in eight games... Appeared in two games as a freshman in 2011, recording an eight-yard reception.

Trey Williams – RB – 5-7, 195 pounds – Texas A&M

Played collegiately at Texas A&M from 2012-14, rushing for 1,343 yards on 204 career carries (6.6 avg.) with 18 touchdowns in 36 games for the Aggies. Also recorded 38 career receptions for 330 yards with one receiving touchdown... Led team in rushing in 2014 with 474 yards and six touchdowns on 70 carries. Was second on the team with 851 all-purpose yards, also adding 14 catches for 59 yards and 318 return yards on 13 kickoff returns... Recorded 407 rushing yards and caught 10 passes for 54 receiving yards as a sophomore in 2013. Amassed 706 kick return yards including a 97-yarder vs. Mississippi State... Saw action in all 13 games as a true freshman in 2012, posting 376 yards and five touchdowns on 65 carries, 12 receptions for 171 yards, and 25 kickoff returns for 557 yards. Named to Freshman All-SEC team.
