Redskins Sign O-Linemen Pucillo, Walter

The Washington Redskins announced March 24 that they have signed veteran offensive linemen Mike Pucillo and Tyson Walter.

Pucillo, 6-4 and 311 pounds, entered the league as a 7th round (215th overall) selection by the Buffalo Bills in the 2002 NFL Draft from Auburn. During his career he has appeared in 25 games with 18 starts.

Touted as a versatile lineman that can play both guard and center positions, Pucillo has spent time on the rosters of Buffalo and Cleveland during his four-year career.

Walter, 6-4 and 303 pounds, was a 6th round (179th overall) pick of the Dallas Cowboys in the 2002 NFL Draft from Ohio State. He appeared in 40 games with nine starts during his four-year career.

Walter spent three seasons with the Cowboys, playing both guard and center positions, before signing with the Texans in November 2005.

The Redskins also announced that they have waived defensive back James Bethea.
