The Redskins announced Sept. 5 that they have signed rookie defensive back Dimitri Patterson to the practice squad.

Patterson, 5-11 and 196 pounds, played at Tuskegee where he earned All-SIAC honors as a senior. Patterson was a participant in the Redskins rookie camp in late April of 2005.

Patterson will wear jersey number 34. The signing of Patterson completes the eight-man practice squad for the Redskins.
