The Redskins on Wednesday added two more wide receivers to the roster with the additions of Kendal Thompson and T.J. Thorpe.

The Washington Redskins on Wednesday announced the signing of two wide receivers, as Utah's Kendal Thompson and Virginia's T.J. Thorpe join an already talented group of players at the position.

Thompson – 6-foot-2 , 192 pounds – split time between Oklahoma and Utah during his college career, collecting 608 passing yards and four touchdowns along with four interceptions.

Additionally, he collected 267 rushing yards and three touchdowns along with one reception for eight yards during his collegiate career.

Thompson began his move to wide receiver during Utah's pro day, saying he "caught the ball well."

"Obviously being a former quarterback, it was vital for me to come out and catch the ball well and show I can run routes," Thompson said via DesertNews.com. "I think I was able to do that."

Thorpe, meanwhile, split his college career between North Carolina and Virginia.

During his lone active season with the Cavaliers, Thorpe appeared in 10 games recording 23 receptions for 321 yards and a touchdown.

Thorpe's first reception for Virginia was a 75-yard touchdown against Boise State.

Prior to his days at Virginia, the six-foot, 200-pound wide receiver collected 42 receptions for 574 receiving yards and five touchdowns during his time at North Carolina.

Thorpe was also a lethal return man, as he broke the school record for kick return yards (960) during the 2011 season while earning All-ACC honors before graduating from the school.

With Thompson and Thorpe now in the mix, the Redskins are currently up to 13 wide receivers on the roster.
