The Washington Redskins confirmed Jan. 24 the departure of quarterbacks coach Bill Musgrave to the Atlanta Falcons organization.

"We wish Bill Musgrave all the best in his new role with the Falcons organization," said Redskins head coach Joe Gibbs. "Although it is unfortunate that he departed, we always want what is best for our coaches and their families, which is why we gave Atlanta permission to interview him."

The direction of the Redskins offensive staff in terms of quarterbacks coach will be determined and announced by Coach Gibbs in the near future.
