Redskins-Titans: Announcement Of Inactives

The Washington Redskins have announced the following inactives and lineup changes for today's game against the Tennessee Titans:

The Redskins declared the following players as inactive:

  • No. 10 QB Robert Griffin III
  • No. 15 WR Aldrick Robinson
  • No. 22 CB Tracy Porter
  • No. 56 LB Perry Riley Jr.
  • No. 60 G Spencer Long
  • No. 76 T Morgan Moses
  • No. 94 DE Clifton Geathers

No. 51 Will Compton is expected to start in place of Riley, Jr. at jack linebacker.

Yesterday, the Redskins activated No. 72 DE Stephen Bowen from their Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list. Bowen (6-5, 300) is in his ninth NFL season out of Hofstra. In addition, the team placed No. 54 LB Akeem Jordan on its Reserve/Injured list.

The Titans declared the following players as inactive:

  • No. 10 QB Jake Locker
  • No. 23 RB Shonn Greene
  • No. 24 CB Coty Sensabaugh
  • No. 56 LB Akeem Ayers
  • No. 76 T Will Svitek
  • No. 84 TE Taylor Thompson
  • No. 92 DE Ropati Pitoitua
  • No. 12 Charlie Whitehurst is expected to start in place of Locker at quarterback.
  • No. 20 Bishop Sankey is expected to start in place of Greene at running back.
  • No. 86 Chase Coffman is expected to start in place of Thompson at tight end.
  • No. 93 Mike Martin is expected to start in place of Pitoitua at defensive end.

Earlier in the week, the Titans promoted No. 89 TE Brett Brackett to their active roster and placed No. 88 Craig Stevens on their Reserve/Injured list. Brackett (6-5, 251) is in his second NFL season out of Penn State.
