In today's Rewarding Moments In Redskins History presented by Maryland Lottery My Lottery Rewards, we revisit a dominant performance by Washington that earned Jay Gruden his first win the Redskins.

Following a Week 1 loss to the Houston Texans, the Redskins returned home to FedExField looking to pick up an early season victory. For head coach Jay Gruden, it was a chance to pick up victory number one of his NFL coaching career in front of the Redskins faithful. Behind an all-around solid performance in all phases of the game, that's exactly what happened.

Washington received numerous contributions in both the rushing and receiving games against Jacksonville. Running backs Alfred Morris and Silas Redd combined for 126 rushing yards and three touchdowns, while eight different receivers recorded a reception from quarterback Kirk Cousins. Tight end Niles Paul led the way, as he caught eight passes for 99 yards and a touchdown.

Defensively, the Redskins were stout, holding the Jaugars to only eight first downs and 25 rushing yards on the day. The Washington defense also recorded 10 sacks in what ended up being a 41-10 victory.
