One of the best Washington Redskins of all time, Pro Football Hall of Famer Russ Grimm is back in the NFL.
The Tennessee Titans on Monday announced that Grimm has been hired as their offensive line coach.
Grimm had not been in the NFL over the last three seasons after serving as the Arizona Cardinals' assistant head coach/offensive line coach from 2007-2012.
Before that, Grimm, a 2010 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee, was with the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2001-2006 working with their offensive line.
Grimm got his NFL coaching start with the Redskins in 1992, as he was the team's tight ends coach through the 1996 season.
In 1997, Grimm transitioned over to offensive line coach where he'd remain for four seasons.
Grimm was a third-round pick in the 1981 NFL Draft and played his entire 11-year career with the Redskins, where he was named a first-team All-Pro four times and won three Super Bowl titles.
Grimm's son, Chad, is currently a member of the Redskins' coaching staff as a defensive quality control coach.
