You'd be surprised at how much thought and preparation goes into meal planning for Randle El and his teammates.

Here's a tip for all Redskins fans from Jakubczak, who is in her second year as team nutritionist: "If 80 percent of the time you choose nutrient dense foods (whole grains, lean proteins, fresh fruit and vegetables, or low fat dairy), then 20 percent of the time you can choose fun foods. Balance this with daily physical activity."

Simply put, Antwaan Randle El and his teammates take nutrition seriously. They want to help make Redskins fans the healthiest in the NFL. And nutrition is certainly a large part of that effort.

Also appearing in the Redskins Health and Wellness TV Special is linebacker Rocky McIntosh, who is rehabilitating a knee injury daily at Redskins Park.

Redskins assistant strength and conditioning coach Harrison Bernstein gives an inside look at how the team's players train in the offseason.

Also, Redskins players teach area youth about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and Redskins Cheerleader Brittany offers skin care tips.

These are just some of the highlights of the TV special, which also tackles childhood obesity, emphasizes family nutrition, and points out the importance of warming up and stretching before and after exercise.
