The Washington Redskins selected 10 players in the 2017 NFL Draft that they feel will come in, have an immediate impact and take the team to greater heights this coming season.

The folks over at Talk of Fame Network had time to study the draft selections of all 32 NFL teams, and came up with eight teams they believe got the best crop of players among the 253 that were taken.

One of those teams in their latest poll, "Which NFL Team Had The Best Draft?" is the Redskins, who Rick Gosselin thinks did a wonderful job in assessing their needs and addressing them at the NFL Draft.

"The Redskins used their first two draft picks on players off the Crimson Tide defense, [defensive] end Jonathan Allen in the first and pass-rushing linebacker Ryan Anderson in the second," Gosselin said. "Cornerback Fabian Moreau was a real value in the third, and in [running back] Samaje Perine, the Redskins landed the all-time leading rusher from Oklahoma, a school with a rich tradition of ball carriers."

UPDATE

After several days of voting, Redskins fans did their job.

Washington tallied more than enough votes -- collecting 429 and 67 percent of the total -- beating out the Cowboys, who received 80 votes, for the best NFL Draft.

Both Talk of Fame contributors Ron Borges and Clark Judge agreed with the fans' decision. "I'll side with the majority," said Borges, "even though we all know nobody knows what kind of draft they really had until five years from now … by which time it's too late to fix it!"

"Love that they started with two guys from the Alabama defense, with Allen a steal at 17," said Judge. "The only problem is that they didn't add the other nine starters from that defense."
