Thirty years ago this month, the Washington Redskins experienced a few of the most memorable weeks in the history of the franchise. Due to an NFL strike, the Redskins were running out an entire roster of replacement players that paved the way to a Super Bowl title later that season.

As the Talk Of Fame Network remembered with a special podcast including former Redskins general manager Charley Casserly, perhaps the most memorable moment came at the end of the strike when the Redskins defeated the Dallas Cowboys, 13-7, in the final game with replacement players. Prior to the game, head coach Joe Gibbs delivered an incredible speech that Casserly relayed in a in-depth podcast that lasts almost 90 minutes.

The game was especially memorable due to the Cowboys having many of their key players back early because they had crossed the picket line.

"It was one of the most emotional wins I've ever been around in the history of my career," Casserly said in the podcast.
