Redskins rookie running back Derrius Guice spun around inside Capital One Arena, taking an Instagram selfie of the celebration surrounding him once the final horn rung. The Capitals had won the Stanley Cup, and he and his new teammates got an early lesson, if they hadn't already, about the passion and excitement of Washington fans.

Guice, along with rookies Martez Carter and Shay Fields, enjoyed the pandemonium inside the watch party, while thousands cheered outside and throughout the city. Then there was longsnapper Nick Sundberg, who took a flight to Las Vegas earlier on Thursday and attended the game -- seeing in person Alexander Ovechkin and the Caps hoist the Cup in front of opposing fans.

Just about every other player that uses social media on a somewhat regular basis tweeted out their own reactions to D.C's first major-four championship since the Redskins' Super Bowl victory in 1992.

Here's how players got into the festive, exclamatory spirit last night.
