For the second time in the past four seasons, the Redskins were able to accomplish the worst-to-first feat, as they defeated the Eagles 38-24 on Dec. 20 to clinch the NFC East.

Trent Williams through four touchdown passes for a second straight week, and had a season-high 365 passing yards. Jordan Reed was a problem for the Eagles' secondary all evening long, totaling nine receptions for 129 yards and two touchdowns.

Late in the third quarter, just as the Eagles seemed to be picking up some momentum, DeMarco Murray dropped a pitch from Sam Bradford and DeAngelo Hall picked up the fumble and returned it 17-yards to the end zone, regaining a two touchdown lead for the Redskins.

The Eagles were never able to overcome the fumble, and the Redskins went on to complete their season sweep of the Eagles en route to an NFC East crown.
