The Redskins Charitable Foundation and the U.S. Marine Corps want to thank Redskins fans for making the 2011 Touchdown for Tots campaign the most successful to date.

Redskins' fans donated more than 1,380 toys (31 percent increase from 2010) and $41,009.80 (108 percent increase from 2010) at the Dec. 11 Redskins-Patriots game at FedExField.

An additional $1,940.31 and 494 toys were donated from Women of Washington Redskins (WOW) and Redskins Kids Club events, as well as from other local organizations.

The toys and the funds collected allowed over 5,100 D.C. Metro area children to unwrap a gift Christmas morning.

The Redskins Touchdown for Tots campaign is part of a national toy drive benefiting the Toys for Tots Foundation.
