From September 2014 through March 15, 2015, the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation encouraged students in grades K-6 through the Washington, D.C., area to jump into a few good books through their "Redskins Read Challenge."

Not only did students put aside the games, but more than 1,000 minutes were spent reading books.

Washington Redskins linebacker Trent Murphy took note of all of the time spent by local students in various stories.

So, with his felt replica Cat in the Hat on, Murphy provided special video messages for the top three schools' in this year's "Redskins Read Challenge" – West Gate Elementary School, Overlook Elementary School and Roscoe Nix Elementary School.
