The Redskins selected wide receiver Trey Quinn with the last pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, which meant that he would be joining a long list of players deemed "Mr. Irrelevant."

That can be a frustrating nickname, especially for a player of Quinn's ability. Had the SMU product not been taken with the 256th-overall pick, his status would not have been nearly as publicized – he would have been relegated to "sleeper" status, a seventh-round or undrafted player capable of beating the odds. Instead, Quinn has had to go on the defensive and call himself "relevant," a joke but also a validation of his talents that the silly sobriquet forced upon him.

However, being Mr. Irrelevant has its perks. Quinn enjoyed them last weekend, taking his entire family to Newport Beach, Calif., as part of the "Mr. Irrelevant Week" festivities.

"If they're going to give me a free vacation out of it that's fine and then I'll go be the best player in the damn draft," Quinn said during OTAs. "It's one of those things, and I'll just take a free vacation for it."

Quinn's adventures began with a spin class, continued with surfing lessons (he's actually pretty good) and a trip to Disneyland and finished with more pomp and circumstance, taking him to a special banquet to meet with former NFL players, agents and reporters before some television interviews.

Take a look at the video above to get a detailed picture of his packed itinerary. You will find out pretty quickly that Quinn's father, Dave, seems like a great hang.
