Washington Redskins Announce Burgundy Week In Advance Of Dallas Cowboys Game

LANDOVER, Md. – The Washington Redskins will kick off Burgundy Week in the greater Washington, D.C. area with social contests, giveaways, and special gameday elements to get fans ready for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys at FedExField.

The Redskins encourage all fans to use the hashtag #BeatDallas to show their support throughout the week for a chance to be featured on the Redskins' social platforms. Ten winners with the most passionate messages will be selected to win a pair of tickets to the game.

Alumnus Chris Cooley will also be searching for fans wearing burgundy and gold throughout D.C., Maryland and Virginia this week to reward Redskins fans with autographed items and other prizes.

"We want our fan base to come to FedExField amped up and ready to cheer on our team for the biggest home game of the season so far," said Steve Ziff, Chief Marketing Officer. "It's our first divisional game, and it's against our storied rivals. We need our fans now more than ever."

The Redskins Fan Team will become the Kickoff Crew for this Sunday to rally fans to enter the stadium and witness a special kickoff message before the game begins. Exclusive elements for this game include a halftime performance by the Howard University Showtime Marching Band, a pregame concert in Lot A by country duo LOCASH, and Beat Dallas themed food and merchandise items available throughout the stadium.

Three-Game Mini Plans that include the Cowboys game, either the Eagles or Giants games, and either the Falcons or Texans games are still available for purchase online at redskins.com/tickets/mini-plan. Limited single game tickets remain for Sunday's game at redskins.com/tickets.
