The Washington Redskins on Monday, along with partner Inova Health Systems, celebrated the official re-branding of the Inova Sports Performance Center at Redskins Park in Loudoun County, Va. With the rebranding, Inova will have an opportunity to highlight its work in sports performance through its partnership with EXOS, a performance training and nutritional services company.

With the help of Inova's extensive networks, they will be able to improve the Redskins' Health & Wellness platform. The Health & Wellness platform was launched in 2014 to help provide its fans access to the team's trainers and physicians.

"We look forward to working with the Redskins to help them stay healthy and win and for us to work together keep our regional community healthy," said Mark Stauder, President and Chief Operating Officer of Inova. "Dr. West will take the charge and she has a wonderful team."

The organizations will also team up to design new health programs within the community, concussion baseline testing for young football players, breast cancer awareness programs and more. The Redskins medical team understands the importance of having the players at the best possible health throughout the entirety an NFL season.

"We take pride in keeping these high-level athletes as healthy as possible," said team physician Dr. Robin West.

Redskins team president Bruce Allen is excited about the partnership and is committed to having the healthiest organization possible.

"As you know, the ultimate goal is to keep our players and coaches healthy," Allen said. "We are committed to our player's health and knowing what's best for them is best for us."
